From “Help?” to Handled: Support Tickets Are Now Built Into NotionApps

New in NotionApps: Built-In Builder Support Tickets

Help guide: Help Guide

We’ve added a new support experience directly inside the NotionApps builder: Support Tickets.

Builders can now submit, track, and manage help requests without leaving the NotionApps ecosystem. Whether you’re troubleshooting a published app, reporting a bug, asking about billing, or working through a Notion connection issue, you can now keep the full conversation organized in one place.

What’s included

Submit tickets from inside NotionApps
Builders can open the new Support area from the builder navigation and create a ticket directly from their account.

Connect tickets to a specific app
When an issue relates to a specific app, builders can attach the ticket to that app so support has the right context from the beginning.

Clear category and severity fields
Tickets include guided fields for category and severity, with built-in help text explaining what each option means. This helps builders describe the issue more accurately and helps support route work faster.

Attach screenshots, images, and PDFs
Builders can drag and drop files or browse to upload supporting evidence. The system supports image files and PDFs, with clear file limits to keep uploads practical and reliable.

Track ticket status
Builders can see whether a ticket is in review, waiting on them, in progress, escalated, resolved, closed, or marked as a duplicate.

Reply in the same thread
Support conversations now stay attached to the ticket. Builders can reply, add more detail, attach new files, and keep the issue history together.

Reopen resolved tickets
If an issue is marked resolved but still needs attention, builders can reply to reopen the ticket with updated context.

Why this matters

This gives builders a cleaner, more reliable way to get help.

Instead of support requests being scattered across email, chat, screenshots, and one-off messages, each issue now has a structured record with the app, category, severity, description, attachments, status, and conversation history all in one place.

For builders, that means:

  • Less back-and-forth to explain the issue.
  • Better visibility into support progress.
  • Easier follow-up when more information is needed.
  • A clear record of past issues and resolutions.
  • Faster routing because support gets structured context upfront.

For NotionApps support, it means:

  • Better triage.
  • Clearer severity and impact signals.
  • More useful screenshots and PDFs attached to the right issue.
  • Cleaner lifecycle management from new ticket to resolution.
  • A stronger foundation for improving support quality over time.

The new Support Tickets area is designed to make help feel native to NotionApps: available where builders already work, connected to the apps they are building, and structured enough to move issues forward quickly.
