14 Sep 2026: Sync Health, honest Reload toasts, and published form save state

Now live: Sync Health, honest Reload toasts, and published form save state.

Sync and Reload now tell you when a refresh was only partial. Published forms show whether a save is still sending to Notion. Settings → Data has Sync Health for the whole app.

Full note: 14 Sep 2026 Release

What’s new

Capability What you can do
Database health See Up to date, Partial, Held, Waiting, or Access blocked after Sync / Reload
Honest reload toasts A partial or paused refresh no longer looks like a full success
Published form save state After submit: Saved in NotionApps, Sending to Notion, Confirmed in Notion, or Needs attention
Sync Health Settings → Data — app and database status, recent runs, Sync Now / Retry, and a prefilled support ticket
Reload does not remove rows unless we finished reading the database.
A save is kept if Notion is rate-limiting or the job restarts.
Double-submit does not create a second Notion page.

Start here

  1. Open Databases, run Sync / Reload, and read the health line plus the toast.
  2. Open Settings → Data for Sync Health.
  3. Submit a published Create or Update form — your success title stays; the new line is the save state.

Database health after Sync / Reload

Health Meaning
Up to date We finished reading. Extra local rows that Notion deleted can be removed.
Partial We did not finish. Extra local rows were kept.
Held A large cleanup was paused on purpose. Nothing was removed.
Waiting App edits are still going out to Notion.
Access blocked Reconnect Notion, then refresh.

Published form save state

After a published Create or Update form succeeds locally, the popup keeps your custom success title. The detail line is the save state:

  • Saved in NotionApps — we accepted the row; Notion does not have a page yet
  • Sending to Notion — the write is in flight or retrying
  • Confirmed in Notion — the Notion page exists
  • Needs attention — the create was lost mid-flight. We will not open a second page. Contact support if it stays here.

What makers need to change

Nothing required. Publish / refresh as usual. Optionally teach end users the four save-state lines.
