Custom CSS/JS in the app builder

This is one of the features we are tracking for the new couple of months. But yes, this is the only way to integrate chatbots on the apps.

Right now, it’s really hard to format the text. all the colors I use in the notion app are black in the notionapps, and there’s no adaptive text size going from an iphone, to ipad, to desktop, and looks a little sloppy

I understand. There are a few formatting options available for TEXT like components. Have you explored these options?

Yes i have used that but if you are using multiple bullet points, etc, it becomes a bit difficult to do

The work on this feature is in progress and we’re planning to launch it by Nov/Dec. If I may ask, what’s your use case for this?

Yes this would make a huge difference, I really want to be able to edit the CSS styling! E.g. fonts and padding and things like that

First, thank you all for continuing to surface and discuss this request. I can see there has been strong interest in the ability to add custom CSS or JavaScript in the app builder, and I completely understand why this would be valuable — especially for things like custom fonts, layout adjustments, chatbot widgets, and deeper UI customization.

For context, NotionApps recently transitioned to new ownership, and I’m currently taking time to carefully review the product roadmap, infrastructure, and community requests so we can move forward in a thoughtful way.

This feature is definitely on the radar. Before committing to a specific timeline, I’d like to better understand the most common use cases from the community so we implement it in the right way.
