Hello @Sam_Roberts. Thank you for your suggestion. We have heard this quite a few times now. We will add it to our roadmap. However, I do not have a concrete timeline for this yet.

Problem
Published apps are bright. People using them on a phone, especially at night, have asked for a dark theme.
Who it is for
Makers whose audience reads the app on a phone, and anyone who needs a dark screen.
What happens today
A maker can set brand colors, fonts, the background, and custom CSS. Those tools can imitate a dark screen, and they break when the next component is added. There is no dark theme for the published app.
Requirement
The maker can turn on a dark theme for the published app.
The dark theme covers the screens people use, including on a phone. Text and controls stay readable. The maker can keep the app light instead. An app that never turns the dark theme on stays as it is.
Out of scope
This does not remove custom colors or custom CSS. It does not give each person their own theme designer. It does not restyle the builder.
Success criteria
- With the dark theme on, the published app is dark on a phone and on a desktop browser.
- Text and buttons remain readable on that dark background.
- With the dark theme off, the app stays light.
- An app that never turns it on looks the same as it does today.
