Image size - crop to fit or resize?

hello,

is there a way to change how images are shown ?
It seems to be cropped to fit the shape, but sometimes it’s a square (grid view), and sometimes it’s a large rectangle (when image is shown on the top a an item page)
I would like to change the “crop to fit” for a “resize to show entire image” instead.

Can you please share some examples/screenshots? I will be able to better address your issue that way.

Here is a “one item” page, in wich the item is a client, and the picture is his logo

In the clients list (“vue items”), wich is a grid, the picture is cropped to fill the square. (and it’s not very pretty)

(This example is not a screenshot, but a mockup to illustrate my request)

I would love to have a choice, in the settings, for the “pictures behaviour”.
In my case I would select something like “contain” instead of “cover” (idk if those are correct CSS terms)
Maybe a choice for the background (white or transparent) would be great, but the most important is to show the entire picture.

Sorry if this feature already exists and I missed the setting !

You’re right. This feature does not exist yet. We will try and add it next week.

Using photo viewer, its the same on Desktop/Phone view.
It was crop and now showing the whole image…
What is the size of this image needed to show the whole image? Thanks.

If you create a rectangular image, it should show up fully @Alvin. We have also provided this option in the “Heading” component.

Thanks, @jatin_notionapps will check it out.

Works in header, not in image viewer. But this will do. Thanks.
