Is the a way to setup a Public App / No Login WEbsite but Some Spaces do require a Login… or is Pointing them to a seperate & private (login req’d) app all together my best work around??

The best workaround is to have 2 separate apps. The public app has buttons to redirect the user to the private app.

Do you have a suggestion to get the redirect to open the shortcut thats on the device? and not open a full browser with url address bars, etc??

Or just wait because a solution is coming.
My only suggestion is to open the app using a separate button component. However, the problem of opening installed PWA vs opening a web page still exists and I could not find a straightforward solution for it.
I am facing a similar conundrum for my use case(Meal Delivery / Subscription), where I redirect using the button I say “Download our Subscriber only app with advanced features” and mention to replace/remove this app, this way next time onwards these users directly open the paid app anyway.
