Question: Does "Logged In User" work in the Editor Preview?

Hello,

I have a quick question about the “Logged In User” feature.

I’ve noticed that in the Editor mode, any Action that uses “Logged In User” doesn’t seem to work. The fields are not populated.

The feature works perfectly on the live/published app (on both desktop and mobile browsers), so the issue seems to be only with the Editor preview.

Is this the expected behavior?

If so, it would be a fantastic improvement for testing if “Logged In User” could also work in the editor other than we select “view as any user”. It would make the development process much easier.

Thank you for the great tool!

Hello @kawano164! Thank you for letting us know about this requirement. However, this is indeed - by design. In the Editor preview, we don’t know the “user” you want with Screen Actions while in the published application, we know the “user” (because they have logged in).

@jatin_notionapps Thank you!

I understand what you say.
If we can get “Logged in User” imfomation same as “view as someone” option, it will be very nice.
