This option will allow you to go back to a previous version of a published application (if it’s compatible with the current app/database structure). This feature can be useful in case of accidental screen deletions.
Agree. It helps in many more cases than screen deletion ![]()
Yes, this is really helpful.
Most of products have this old and new versions. ![]()
Greetings,
Is this still a valid requirement. Do users still want to see this in the application? If so, please weigh-in on the discussion; we’d love to hear both your feedback and use cases.

Feature: Revert Published Application to Previous Version
Status: Proposed / Planned
Audience: NotionApps builders on eligible paid plans
We’re planning to add a Version History feature that will allow eligible builders to revert a published app back to a previous published version.
This is designed to help builders recover quickly if they publish changes by mistake, break part of an app, or need to return the live app to a prior working version.
When a builder selects a previous version and confirms the revert, the published app experience will be changed back to match that selected version. The system will preserve version history, so the revert itself becomes a new published version rather than deleting or overwriting older versions.
This feature only restores the NotionApps published app configuration/snapshot. It does not restore deleted Notion databases, pages, records, properties, billing settings, account settings, analytics, ownership, or custom domains.
Access by Plan
Pro users will be able to access and revert to 1 previous published version.
Premium users will be able to access and revert to 3 previous published versions.
Enterprise users will be able to access and revert to 6 previous published versions.
Free, Plus/Tier 1, inactive, expired, and trial-only users will not have access to this feature.
Custom plans will not have access by default unless they are explicitly mapped to Enterprise-level access.
Example
If an app is currently on Version 10:
Pro can revert to Version 9.
Premium can revert to Versions 9, 8, or 7.
Enterprise can revert to Versions 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, or 4.
Builder Experience
Builders will see a Version History or Previous Versions area near publishing controls or app settings.
The version list should show the version number, published date, current live version, and a revert option for eligible previous versions.
Before the revert happens, the builder will see a confirmation message explaining that the live published app will change and that Notion data itself will not be restored. The builder will need to deliberately confirm the action before continuing.
Why This Matters
This gives builders more confidence when publishing changes. If something goes wrong, eligible users will have a fast, self-service way to return the live app to a previous working version without needing support intervention.
