It would be great if we could toggle between showing the entire image (object-fit: contain) vs covering all available space and cropping into the middle (object-fit: cover). This applies to all places where images can be shown.

The case where I thought of this was book covers. Which are usually vertical images.
But this can be extended to all cases where it’s beneficial to have the entire image be visible.
This should be resolved with our desktop view @ejs. If you are still facing aspect ratio issues, please let us know.
