It would be great if we could sort the options alphabetically in a dropdown menu instead of dragging and dropping them.
Also, I wonder why their content is not dynamic (if you add an option in Notion, you then have to add it manually in the dropdown menu) Is this a limitation that comes from Notion?

Was wondering about this too. Can be quite a hassle when we were to change / add new option in Notion and having to go back into the app builder to “apply” the same as well
Would be helpful if this can be “re-fetched” together with the automatic reload function
I have noted this down @sky168 @Sylvain. The reason we don’t automatically apply these changes is because we don’t like to tamper with the app as we don’t know if the user would want to propagate new options into all components or just a few. However, showing a popup is a fair way to think about it.
But given our current priorities, this seems less likely to be picked up in the near future. Our current goal is to add more features to the tool like email/password, SSO, ignore data restriction, custom CSS/JS, etc.

Select options in a dropdown drift from Notion. A new, renamed, or removed option has to be applied again by hand. The dropdown also cannot be ordered A–Z or in Notion’s option order, and a long list is hard to scan.
Makers whose select or status options change in Notion, and people filling in a form that offers many options.
The options on a dropdown are a saved copy. Order is whatever was stored on that field. A long dropdown has no search. Search inside a long dropdown was also asked in a separate thread, and it belongs on this same control.
The maker can bring Notion’s current options into the dropdown when those options change, without rebuilding the field. The maker chooses which dropdowns pick up the change, so a new option is not forced onto every field.
The maker chooses the order: alphabetical, or the order of the options in Notion.
On a long dropdown, the person filling the form can search the options and pick from the matches.
This does not edit the option list inside Notion. It does not change how a list of rows is sorted. It does not turn a select into a relation.
